To reply to my own question, it appears that to use an external flash with the RX1 an adaptor is required. It does not appear on the Sony website in Australia but is on the US site. I have ordered one. |

Tom, just a dab'll do ya, any excess can be cleaned up easily...I am surprised the threads are not a good fit, suitable for re-use on a frquent basis, provided they are not over-torqued. |
