I'll be in Colorado 9/16 - 9/28 from RMNP to Telluride. I'm sure there will be plenty of FMers there. We need hats or something.

From below, thanks, Jim and Gary! Jim, the map addition is not a feature, rather just static map for those not familiar with the state to show them where most of the goods are located in relation to each other.

Awesome! This has been my go to source for a few years now. Having all those photos are cool, not only in terms of gauging color, but in giving us other ideas on different locations to shoot. I haven't had a chance to check out the new map feature, but it sounds cool.

Some on the Denver radio stations are already commenting on how the leafs are now changing. So barring snow or high winds, it should be really nice over the next three weekends...

Just a guess of course...

They are changing now in the higher elevations around Steamboat, CO. I am planning on heading up to the Zirkels tomorrow evening weather permitting.

The red oaks are turning here in Utah, I imagine another week or two and they will peak and the Aspen will star to turn. I really don't know what to expect this year for color, it's been so dry I am not sure how it will effect it.

Maroon Bells from yesterday, 9/10. Based on those, it looks like it could be at peak early next week, which I base on last years' progression from a similar stage. So, for those limited to weekends, I'd suggest waiting until next weekend.

Oh man... I was afraid of that... The earliest I can get there is the 24th... Thanks for the update on the Bells. I have shot Maroon Bells for the last 3 years straight so maybe I will focus on some other area's in Colorado this year.

It was shot with a Nikon P&S in 2003 just north of Flagstaff.

Weekend of 14th or 21st? I am planning to go the weekend of 28th, but I am afraid it may be too late. Last year, the last weekend of Sep worked perfectly for me as it was peak color almost everywhere. But, this year, it may be a week early.

I probably should've clarified, but I meant the weekend of the 22nd (15th would be this weekend ). What, you don't work Fridays?!

My weekend starts around Thursday at 6:00 PM.

Well, I moved from NH to SC and I have not done squat yet! Not sure where to go here but if I was in NH I would know where to go for sure!
