I had to drop some stuff off at my office this weekend and my son wanted to hit some of the memorials and take pictures because he's been in a photography class this summer as part of camp. Of course it was 1:30 and 100 degrees, so most of my pictures are of hot, sweaty crowds, and I seriously considered entering some of those. They show how most of us see these great monuments in DC... In any event, I tried to find a different approach given those conditions:
