These are the remainders of the British Trawler Epine that broke apart on the rough Icelandic coast of Dritvik in March 1948. The fragments are now having the status of an historic monument. Ground by strong waves and large stones, the corroded iron parts are spread all over the dark beach.

Would be nice if they would gather all the pieces up and make a plate about the Trawler or something.

Thank you Fishit, also for me, the dark gray of the pebbles has something unreal.
