Well, I'm not exactly sure where the 43mm filter thread is located on this, but if we assume it's the interior ring just inside the lettering, then we can transfer measurements from one image to the other and it looks like the sensor is approx 18mm wide... so 2X crop. |

^^^^ thanks guys for the info. I'm obviously not up to speed on all of the mirrorless offerings. A kit prime is apparently not that unusual. |

Can't someone do some clever measurements of the hotshoe and resolve these issues once and for all? |

Hotshoe is approx 18.7mm wide (inside edge to inside edge). |

It looks bigger than m4/3 sensor if compare with the size of the hotshoe. I am guessing APSC. So it will come with a 35/2.8 eq lens huh |

It looks exactly like a "Let's be absolutely certain no one who might buy an SLR buys this instead" camera design. |

Im surprised the company that made their established pro lenses not compatible with their new mount even via adapter with reduced functionality would play it so safe. |

Don't you have to account for perspective distortion? |
