From an engagement session....

just a quick edit before leaving for a long weekend:

This is probably my favorite from the month... I just love the range of emotions on everyone's faces.. from sheer happiness to anticipation and of course.. uncle bob.

I had a number of ones I really loved from this month, but this is probably my favorite. I am not normally as clever with things like this (if it is even clever to do this anymore)

So tough. I think I like this one because beautiful weather at a wide open beach isn't as common here as elsewhere, so my Californian friends probably wouldn't care for this. Still, it was just right for this couple.

These are two of my best friends, who are getting married later this year. I can't shoot the wedding (cuz I'm in it), but they hired me to do their engagement photos. I looooove this one.



And just because I want to show off my adorable handmade props. I hope that doesn't count as cheating.

This is one of mine. Had a really hard time getting the bride to smile, but every so often the groom just reached in for a kiss, and that brought the most pretty natural smile from her. We were also having a fun time trying to hide the huge boot on his left foot from the surgery he had. Hope it is gone before wedding day.
