Does anyone else find the 640 pixel maximum frustrating? I know we all have to play by the same rules, but such a small size seems so... last century.

I know exactly what you mean! I reshot my entry because it looked so different at 640 than it did full size.

On another note, very nice use of B&W. Beautiful image.

Agreed, very nice b&w conversion.

Thanks guys. I would like to have shown more of the chain that the weed was growing through, but doing that (at the aforementioned cursed 640 size) made the seed head too small and caused too much detail to be lost.

I guess I should have chosen a better angle.

Great shot, and yes, the 640px is a restriction for sure. I also like the B&W presentation of this. I don't immediately get a sense of Urban.

My other option to depict "urban" was this, but I honestly liked the texture in the B&W better.

Poll: Is this the better image for the WA theme?

The image restriction of 640 px can be an obstacle but with that said I like your B/W image over the color version.
