Here's a picture of another camera (took my shots for my upcoming reviews tonight), but taken with the X-E1 and Canon FD 50/1.4. Single light to the rear left and front right reflector.

Correct you are, this is where I'm from Well seen.

I travel that road relatively often when on assignments in Kristiansund and surrounding areas..... Ive PMed you a link to a shot taken from the exact same spot with my hassy.. I really enjoy that view and I spotted it straight away

With AF Canon EF lenses, you won't have AF or aperture control.

Not entirely true, AFAIK. There are some adapters which let you change aperture, though I haven't used one yet: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Canon-EOS-EF-mount-lens-To-Fujifilm-X-Pro1-X-E1-FX-Adapter-with-aperture-ring-A-/181015600696

There are even tilt adapters.

Dang it!
Why are all the deals for the black body only?!
Sigh...
I want a silver X-E1 kit deal.
Looks like I'll have to settle for black, unless I get an evilbay "deal".

Woo!
Adorama on eBay is selling a silver body X-E1 with XF35/1.4 for a reasonable price.
I will get this one!

You've earned $25.98 in eBay Bucks.

Two from tonight...the second is sort of a test shot, since I got the 18-55 today. Have to shoot a lot more with it. Seems good, but need lots more shooting. First is with the 35/1.4, second with the 18-55.

One more - also with the 18-55:

Hi Jordan -

How do you find the AF speed b/w the two lenses?

I need to shoot with them more to really get a feel, but the 18-55 feels a fair bit faster, though I'm not sure how much of it is due to the speed and how much is due to the fact that the 18-55 is nearly silent when it focuses, compared to the buzz from the 35mm.

A cartoonish, salvaged, heavily PPed shot from a moving car at night. Worth saving?

Or as a great photographer once said:
"You can polish a turd, but it is still a piece of s#$%!"

Fuji X-E1 + 18-55 +Lr4.4+Nik Color Efex.

Actually, I love it. Sometimes photos have a tendency to be too technically perfect - many of the best photos appear to be an amalgam of the real and surreal, as in this case.

I agree.

Not sure it will hold up if you print big, but at least as we're viewing it there's something nice about it.

Passed this on the road today and turned around for a few quick snaps. Must have been quite the place at one time. X-E1 with 18-55mm at 33mm, f/16

You guys are killing me with the X-E1 shots. Now that true LR support is available I feel myself caving - the wife will not be happy.
