Luka - I like that scene
Rob - Love the stitched shot. How are you doing this with so many shots, gigapan?

Despite temperatures just above 0 F, I went out to play around with the C/Y 85/1.4 (EOS converted). All shot WO.

Thanks Bob. Great shots. If it wasn't for my 100, the 85 would have been bought by now. It creates a very appealing feeling of space which I love.

I stitch anything over 10 images by processing and exporting as jpegs then stitching in photoshop and if that doesnt work, PTGUI. Otherwise I send to photoshop directly from Lightroom as RAW. I shoot all my panos handheld.

I have the 100 as well (ZE) and I like them both but the 85 (new to me) gives images with a much different feel. I like both . . .

Thanks

Bob - Ooooo very yummy shots. Love the first one for the very smooth focus transition. quite lovely. Of course, the newspaper stands are the heroes.

Luka, I like the first one of the winter shots. Nice with the different layers.
Bob, the last one stands out. I think it is the dark pipe and shadows that I like about it.
Carsten, the 3D effect in the first is almost to much but I like it. The last one is the best photo though in my opinion.

I guess the colours make the third one. Strange to walk into a partly abandoned place and see such colours.

Too much 3D, eh? Time to start a new thread?

Luka, Joakim - thanks to both. I'm starting to really enjoy this 85!

Carsten - I love the first and the 3d effect!

It's amazing how much color and texture exists in these places. The building I've been visiting of late is no exception! All but the last are 5-shot HDR with NIK HDR Efex

Nice picture of the German shepherd. Reminds me on the same dog I had as a child.
