Re: C/Y Zeiss Image Post

I don't think these small thumbnails give you any idea

Not so good @1.2, with difficult lightning need lot of PS, not good in this. Issues about adapter thickness has been discussed here. Third adapter for me, not perfect yet One sample handhold, practically with no light, dark and cloudy, rainy autumn evening: http://www.tulutudtegevused.eu/gallerii/p/21

In worst case can act like this (handhold without adapter at all on Minolta 7D)

detail:

@1.4 head above 1.2 @2.0 usable, @2.8 wont get better in terms lp/mm, only gain in DOF till diffraction hits (Canon 85/1.2 will improve all the way till diffraction).

Usable (for me at least) with Live-view, forget about chipped adapters. For APO-SUMMICRON-R 90 mm f/2 ASPH I buy LCDVF must try with this. Precision in focusing is crucial for this lens. 5D II- anything ISO100 higher and you will lose in detail, I wish could choose ISO10 ;-)

But I love this lens @4. Again not the best light:

and in the same day:

detail

If only they learn how to make cameras with better sensors... And yes, this is lens made in 1982.
So love and hate relationship ;-) Not actually using this, difficult lens to use. Made only few test shoots but almost buy third copy as it went under EUR 2000 in Foto-Huppert.
