I shot a regional Cheer Fest this past Sunday. The company I shot for decided not to strobe the event this year and shoot available light. I shot with the D3 and the 70-200 VR. I did a preset WB four or five times throughout the event to keep the WB close. I shot f 2.8 with SS of 1/125 to 1/320 ISO 6400
As you can see not the optimal shooting scenario. Over all the pictures came out well. I am amazed at the D3 at ISO 6400. I have applied no NR to these at all.
I am anxious to see how the sell vs, last years strobed shots.
I know these pale in comparison to the cheer shots posted by Hammy bunch but was pleased with getting some usable/sellable shots
