FS: Sigma 70-200 HSM II Nikon $475

I bought this lens from a fellow FM\'er. He told me that the lens had accurate focus on his D700. I have found that it front focuses on my D700 even after adjusting the micro adjustment. I know all lenses and cameras are different but I can\'t use this with my camera. I looked into sending it to Sigma to get it adjusted and they told me it would be around $100 but it would take from 2-6 weeks. I had to buy another lens since my daughter\'s dance recital is right around the corner and I needed a lens for that.

I have decided to sell this lens instead of sending it in. I\'ll take the hit on it so that the new owner doesn\'t have to. I bought it for $630 shipped which is a good price for this lens.

The lens looks and performs excellent. If the focus had been an inch or so further back I would have loved this lens and kept it for a long time. The glass is perfect and the body of the lens looks almost new. It comes with the hood, soft case, manual and the box. The lens is quiet and focuses fast. The glass produces sharp pictures when the focus is accurate. I am convinced that all the lens needs is for the chip to be reprogramed.

You might get lucky and it will work just fine on your camera but even if you have to send it in you\'ll still end up with an excellent lens at a good price.

Price is $475 but you pay shipping and PP fees. That would make it $505 shipped to you.

Or how about $495 shipped and PP.

Last price drop. Next stop, ebay.
