This was in a wetland arethe fire literally burned across water through the reeds. I think it was kids playing with matches out in the dry reeds that caused it and boy it was fierce and fast. I started off shooting right next to it from a dirt track track and it moved ahead faster than I could run. It was a high wind day and the dead reeds are extraordinarily flammable. The fire did come quite close to a suburb but thankfully no harm came of it unless you count the hunreds of hairs on my arm that sacrificed themselves for a closer perspective
