when you have a moment, would you comment on these two shots please? the color seems to be more vivid from the lecia. how about sharpness? it may not be fair, but afterall it is a lecia
thanks,
The two shots were taken early morning about 1/2 hour after sunrise. It was an overcast day with the sun occasionally peaking out from behind the extermely fast moving cloudsl.
The Leica shot the clouds were covering the sun. So I had balanced light. The voigtlander shot the sun peaked out breifly and with a band of sunshine swept across the scene. including the trees. You can see the right side the trees are still dark. This brought out the yellow of the leaves on a couple of trees where as the Leica the yellow is more subdued as it is not lit up from any sunshine.
I was using Singh Ray Reverse Grad Filters and possily Singh Ray Warming Polarizer and the Leica I may have used the Singh Ray Vari ND, with the Grads. I know on the Leica shot I had a 2 and 3 stop ND over the sky and a 4 stop ND over the water. The trees were in the clear area of the grads.
The Leica was shot at 70mm. Both are sharp lens but I found the Voigt to be sharper than the Leica at least at 125mm vs 70mm.
