I love the 15, it is so much wider than 17, makes a big difference, IMO.

Shot on 40D. Yes, this lens certainly will be going with me to NYC this weekend!

Anyways, some random shots before work this morning, lots of these were taken at slow shutter speeds, its pretty gloomy downtown this morning. RWA

All should be WIDE OPEN shots, RAW processed in ACR, default settings (except +1 exposure on the downtown skyscrapers), the color is real nice, that is also helped by the overcast skies:


focus point inside the flower, but gives you an idea of bokeh at the 85 end


vignetting at 15/3.5


an interior shot


fooling around with trying to track people at slow shutter speed:
