a 10-22 will solve all your problems. Think of it this way:
If you have to sell your 300 to buy a 5d, you\'ll increase your options on the wide and loose options on the long end.
Buy the 10-22, and you\'ll increase your options on the wide end, and still have all your options on the long end
ADDENDUM: Pick up a used 10-22 on FM, and it\'s one of those lenses that you won\'t loose anything on when you go to sell it. It\'s truly a special lens.
