 Bald Eagle Nest Update (6) | |
This is a local nest with two juveniles that are about 2 months old and they are ready to fledge any day now. They have been stretching and flapping their wings as well as jumping from branch to branch around the nest. The siblings have been playing tug of war with branches from the nest too. The adults bring a fish every few hours. The angle available isn't great and the lighting was poor, but I managed a few shots with a blown out sky.  I'm hoping for a July 4th fledge from the nest.
