This lens is like new, and I don’t use this grade casually. The lens hood is the only part of the lens that has some cosmetic marks – just the typical marks for most Canon lens hoods that have seen some use. I’ve mounted this lens probably less than 10 times, and the use has always been very light – indeed, so light that I’ve decided to sell it. The lens comes with all original materials (box, tripod mount, soft case, etc.).
I purchased the lens new from B&H (date code UVxxxx).

Below are some links to a sample image (second is a crop at 100%) I quickly snapped this morning on a 40D. This is wide open at 400mm. I underexposed a bit to get a shutter speed of 1/500 (IS is on), adjusted exposure in Lightroom and applied some light, default sharpening when creating the JPEG.
