Living in central North Carolina, I am just a few hours from either the beach or mountains. When one is not sure which one to choose for a weekend getaway, there is always Beech Mountain.
A few weeks ago, we borrowed a friend\'s cabin for the weekend at Beech Mountain. Just down a ways from the cabin is a trail along Bear Creek. Here is a shot I took there. Hope you enjoy.
