The block diagrams for the Samyang and the 85/1.4 AF Nikkor look damn near identical except for the last couple elements. In the Samyang, they are one group with one of the elements being aspherical, and in the Nikon, the last two elements are separate groups with neither being ED. I\'d bet if you posted about this in the Alternative forum, someone would buy one and test it out. Here is a page that has the block diagram from the Nikon, and here is the one from the Samyang [PDF] I personally think that this could have the potential to be a very interesting lens. I only wish I had the money right now. People originally put off Vivitar when they came out with the Series 1 lenses; some of which later proved to be the best in their class, third party or OEM.
