One more thing: I mainly try to hire, as second shooters, photographers who are in my estimation as good as I am or better, and who have at least some experience shooting their own gigs. I don\'t tend to hire people who are just breaking into the business -- nothing against them, it\'s just that I want the work of someone who shoots at my level or higher and knows what\'s coming next at any given point in the day. I also hypothesize that people in this category tend to be more reliable.
