I've owned this lens a little over the year, and it's never given me anything but great photos and no problems on my D7000. I purchased it from a local owner, who'd owned it for less than a year, but had to sell it do to purchasing a house. Glass is flawless on both ends. Two minor little scuffs, which can be seen in the photos. Lens hood is a bit lose when in, but locks on like normal when out.
