After a week of near-zero temperatures, we got a lot of ice on the local falls and gorge walls. This was taken at Viaduct Park near Cleveland where Tinker\'s Creek goes over a broad falls. There wasn\'t much color in the original, so I thought it worked better in B&W. I used a 10-stop ND to get rid of a lot of not-so-pretty foam on the flowing water.
Less than a week later all the ice was gone after the weather warmed back into the 60s.
D700, 24-70/f2.8.
Happy to hear any suggestions or comments.
Dave
P.S. Uploaded edited image with small rock along the lower left edge cloned out. Saw that when I was initially working the image, but forgot to get rid of that sliver of black. Thanks, Mike.
