Hi Douglas,
I have the Collapsible Summicron and just tried a Leitz SL and UV with my M9. I couldn't see any vignetting w/o. I think both neither of my filters are multicoated though. I'd try a 39mm B+W for you but unfortunately my last one is on it's way to a new owner.
