Hiya! Two weeks ago I had my second photo session with a one year old. The thing I have learned is that you really cannot do any complicated stuff with lights since the model is quite hard to control I try to light as big area as possible with as soft light as possible and only aim for nice expressions while making funny noises with the parents After a few good \"safe\" shots I have tried to get something with shallower depth of field or more complicated light setup.
