the relevance is going to be future use such as higher res video and such. the speed increase is fairly substantial from 125MB/s capability to 168MB/s which increases throughput while shooting insanely long continuous bursts in still camera mode. I have one coming tomorrow. I kind of doubt it will make a real difference for now for me. but who knows.
