I finally got to use my new Canon 600mmv2 lens (1D4 body). This shot was taken with the 1.4xTC in place.for an effective focal length of 1092mm. Shot at Shark Valley in the Everglades,early morning. I used Niks Color Effex Pro , detail extractor to bring out the feather detail. Pixel Genius sharpener. I liked the head angle and catch light in its eye which I brightened just a bit in Photoshop.
