I tried to purchase a Leica 28/2.8 Elmarit-R, but as discussed in this thread it didn't work out :/
Instead, I got myself a late-model (1992) Leica 180/3.4 APO-Telyt-R. I will post a beauty shot when I get it.
I'll also be putting together an article with extensive side-by-side images, comparing it to my Nikon 180/2.8 ED AI-s, and possibly a Hasselblad 180/4 Sonnar if I have some extra cash.
Only decision is whether to do this on my D700 or wait until I can upgrade to a D800E.
