On Saturday New York City was forecast to receive between 2 and 4 inches of snow. I love to take photos of the birds at my feeder when itís snowing so I made shore to fill it in the morning and then watched as visitors arrived. I chose to use my 180mm f2.8 as shutter speed helps prevent subject blur. It started to snow, and then turned to sleet and then rain and back to snow before ending leaving us with a nice pretty coat of snow on the grass and foliage. One of my favorite images was taken during a blizzard a few years ago using a P&S with a TC on it.

The woodpecker was hiding under the branch and stuck itís head out as if to see if the snow was still falling. I was there to trip the shutter as it got a face full of snow.

Comments and suggestions welcome,

Morris
