I tend to include everything that is pretty, like the wheat field and the sky. I almost always use the widest lens that I can. I use shorter focal lengths primarily as a way to exclude what is ugly. Shadows, man made stuff, unphotogenic litter.
I don\'t often do macros. I can\'t stand to leave out something. When I do, they never work. It never represents my vision.
But then I am mostly a recorder and never wanted to be an artist.
