Vlad_IT Offline Upload & Sell: On FS: Reduced $105 i3 CPU, Toshiba Satellite L655-S5115 15.6" Item 1: Toshiba Satellite L655-S5115 15.6 I bought this Notebook around 1.5 years ago for my daughter's birthday. It is almost perfect cosmetically. Was working without any hiccup until recently it stopped charging or working from a power adapter at all. I'm not a specialist, but i think it requires a new motherboard as it has faulty power circuitry. For a security reason I'm selling this Toshiba Satellite L655-S5115 with secure wiped HDD. No Windows media, but W7 HP 64-bit product key is on the label to re-install the Windows. But in any case I'm selling this notebook "AS-IS" for parts. It almost in perfect cosmetical condition. Was working without any hiccup until recently it stopped charging or working from a power adapter at all. A local repair guy replace the faulty jack with power cable. And after that “fix” the notebook is working well for several hours and suddenly shutsitself without any warning as it would power removed from the notebook. I went back to the local “repair guy”, but he does not see anything is wrong with the notebook. My daughter gets frustrated with using it. The Toshiba’s “flat rate” out of warranty repair fees is too high –almost a price of a new computer. We have plenty of Desktop computers for her to use. I decided to sell it “AS-IS” with price "for parts" in mind. I fixed many desktop PC’s but I haveno experience with the notebook PC’s. My feeling is that this notebook can beeasily fixed by person who knows what he or she is doing. For a security reason I’m selling this ToshibaSatellite L655-S5115 with secure wiped HDD.
