Victoria Beach Transition to Winter V

I think this will be that last of this series as I dont have any immediate plans to visit this place. These are from Friday. I was in a lot of pain from hurting my foot earlier in the week but the urge to get out was too great. I had originally cancelled the day of shooting because I didn\'t get to sleep til 5:30am from the pain but by noon I was DYING to get out of the house. A friend just bought a camera (G12) and wanted to join me. We got there shortly before sunset. Being in pain, and having difficulty getting around I took it easy and snapped only a few photos. I paid for my stupidity the next day! Total I am almost back to normal.

Previous parts: IV III II I

1. I caught a bit of the sunset light reflection off this ice covered rock using my old Carl Zeiss 50/1.7. I love this lens.

2. Crawling around, literally, I found a nice viewpoint. I processed this to look as natural as I remembered it. 2 exposure blend.

3. A zoomed in photo of some open water. I love the sparkling light in the distance and wished I had used the 100-400 instead of the 70-200.

4. Similar to the 2nd photo but processed to look more surreal.

Hope you enjoy these.
