Last night (Thursday), I shot the first round of playoffs for one of the schools I shoot for. The lighting was better than anything I\'ve had the opportunity to use. I was flipping between ISO 3200/6400 and was getting SS anywhere from 1/400 to 1/1000. The endzones were pretty dark. It was pretty cold for TX...upper 30s. By the middle of the 3rd quarter, my knees were pretty achy, so I stood more than kneeled from that point on.
This game was a SHOOTOUT. The team I was covering, Elysian Fields (the orange team) took home the victory 67-54. EF\'s QB (#12) was 11-for-15 passing for 265 yards and four touchdowns...and ran for 65 yards and three scores. He also recovered a fumble and had an interception on defense.
I know this is more pictures than the norm...I just had a hard time cutting it down more. #5 was a pretty brutal tackle...kind of like a horse collar tackle, but instead of grabbing the back of the pads, the defender grabbed the front of the guys throat...sort of like a clothesline choke slam from behind.
