Carstenw, I am sure you are aware that using that adapter, unless the lens has an aperture ring to manually change the aperture you can only use it wide open. I don\'t know anything about Nikon gear but do G series lenses have aperture rings? I have lots of adapters and the cheap ones are good,.

I have the equivalent for the EOS to m4/3 wwhich has an inbuilt aperture which works quite well up to a point with certain lenses.
Hope this has some relevance to your post.
