This is still ZE lens. You can mount to all of your Canon body. With the gearing added to the lens, aperture de-click and the standard 80mm cap. All of this extra mod is extra benefit for folk that going to use it for video shooting on their DSLR.
for example this is what my 17-35 has duclos mod.
