I have a spare Nikon SB-800 that I no loner use. The rear lcd panel its unusable but it works fine as an on camera TTL flash. That's the reason for the low price on it. I suppose if you know the menu well enough on it you could possibly get it to work in other modes, just making no promises other than TTL mode. I'm assuming it can be fixed/replaced but never checked on it. I'll try and put up some pictures up for it tomorrow evening after work if still available.
