I dunno - what is your ultimate goal here? I\'m first and foremost a business person. And IMHO going around suing people isn\'t often good for business in the long run.

If your goal is to establish yourself as a professional source for content to customers such as this then you should introduce yourself, present a bill and get paid. Get in the door - if a letter didn\'t work, call them or show up in person. Show them your other work. Act like someone they\'d like to get to know and work with i.e. a nice reasonable person. No one is going to work with someone that sues them at the drop of a hat - period! And surprisingly word does get around about who is easy to work with and who threatens you with lawyers immediately. People move from company to company and they don\'t forget. You build up one reputation in this life and it follows you.

But if your goal is to use this as a meal ticket by all means get a lawyer and sue the pants off of them.

But to me - I\'d rather gain a new customer and establish them as a repeat customers. In the long run repeat customer make you rich for life. One time meal tickets do not.

Do you honestly think you can walk into the front door of a largely owned media company (the magazine is owned by a company who produces many publications) and request a sit down with the heads and actually get somewhere?

Contacting them outright within a 2 week span then asking for public advise after that is hardly working at the \"drop of a hat\".

As for word getting around, I hope it does. If you plan on illegally using my images for your financial gain, by all means please let everyone you know I will do what I can to have it removed and right the wrong.

They weren\'t considerate enough to contact me prior to using it or getting back to me after I contacted them. Tomorrow morning will make 3 weeks from when I contacted them and I know I wont hear anything. So why am I to go out of my way to extend more courtesy that has already proven to get me no where?
