I agree -- I think the 1D2 is the best value out there for a quality camera. For around $600 (sometimes less!), you get a rugged pro body with many options and beautiful images. Except for highly detailed or technical work, this camera is still a very capable professional option. And it is a great introduction to the 1.3X sensor.
