I would give up the reach of a 7D for the MKIV. The MKIV is better in all areas. Just find a way to get closer to your subject and dump the 7D.
I would rather attach a 1.4x or 2x TC to my lens with the MKIV rather than use the 7D. I don\'t think the 7D compares to my MKIII either and my MKIV is better than the MKIII.
