Granted, it is not a review, but from what I have read Arthur is a straight shooter. He had a couple of hours to shoot with a friends, and here is what he said (One image is included):
I was at the Alligator Farm this past Sunday (though not part of Artie's group) and had met the guy who loaned Morris the 1DII a few weeks before at Ft. DeSoto. Though I didn't shoot the camera he let me "fondle" it for a few minutes, checking out the smoothness and apparent accuracy of the AF. I first met A.M. about 4 years ago and have done a session with him - he was like a kid with a new toy with this camera.
Still waiting for mine, will be next week at the earliest, probably two. I'm high on the list with a small dealer - a couple of bodies a week is all he gets - and way down the list at another. Everytime the phone rings I'm hoping it is the shop to tell me it's in - can't wait.
