1dsmk3 live view
Received my 1dsmk3 Tuesday. I have only taken about 20 shots so far but already I can see the advantage of the live view function. Focusing alt glass will now be a piece of cake. Auto focus chips on the adaptor will be less important.
Iso 1600 looks like iso 800 on the 1dsmk2.

I'm so dam anxious to go get some photos with the new camera that I've resorted to photographing my desk. http://www.pbase.com/image/90020565

60mm CY makro lens was used.
I was a little concerned about the talk I've heard that the anti alias filter is too strong , but after seeing how sharp this shot is I'm no longer worried.

I'd make use of the live view for long lens sunsets! I probably won't be trading in my 1Ds2 though, I'm content with it otherwise.

Having played with the 40D, LV is like having a nice 3" illuminated ground focusing glass - and easy MLU.
