I've been waiting for months to buy one of these and here it is..............staring at me and just driving me crazy!!!

To top it off it's rainy outside and not the best shooting weather.

I just needed to complain.

Lucky dog, I want one bad....real bad. A little ways down the road though. What did you pay if you don't mind? Shoot something, quick! LOL.

I am waiting for mine....it's on the way! I don't care what kind of day it is-- it goes on the camera and the camera goes with me the day it arrives.

I don't think the 135 f/2L does have weather sealing. I know your post was a joke. I just didn't want someone else to think that it really did have the weather sealing.

This is the first time that I may have found anything wrong with anything you have said Peter! Somehow, I wonder if you are about to correct me even though I feel fairly certain about this. I would feel more certain if it wasn't you! :)

Me too. I bought this lens yesterday (my first ever L) and it hasn't stopped raining since! Looks like we'll be having rain & storms for a few more days too (Brisbane Australia). By the way I chose this lenst thanks to the excellent advice on this forum :)

Trust me! It's worth it. I took mine to a xmas parade over the weekend and was thrilled with the results. Here is a sample:

U would be suprised that u can get excellent pics in rainy day too. It give different moods in the pics. Not all great pics are taken in sunny dry day.

Now, be creative and go out there and shoot some pics before it gets all dried up or dark.

Don't forget to post some pics here when u are done :)

Very smooth! Great gallery Scott.

Nothing better than an L-prime. Yes, I'm biased. :) Waiting to see more 135 shots.

Stop it. Please.

NO more photos taken with a 135L.

Enough already. Have some compassion for those of us who DON'T own one.

Man... that is one sharp lens....

Gunny,

I noticed that you have the 1.4x. Does the 1.4 + the 135 produce good results? I've considered getting it but I'm afraid the 135's quality has spoiled me and I won't be happy with the results. What are your thoughts?

Well no sample shots yet but the lens just feels so "right" on the camera. Perfect balance, FAST focusing and just beautifull. I took a few shots inside of my daughter but haven't looked at them yet.

This is going to be fun.
