Nice kit, Hrannar. If I were shooting Canon, I'd be anxiously anticipating the USM 35/2 IS. If it's good IQ-wise (say on par with the 85/1.8 or better), that would be the ultimate lazy lens on my list. Not exactly a pancake, though.
This has been the week of 58s for me. I got my Rokkor 58/1.2 back from Derek beautifully converted to Alpha, and it works like champ. Infinity's spot on, too, which is impressive since he only had an NEX-7 and adapter to calibrate it.
And from Germany, I got an M42 Biotar 58/2 with the 17-blade iris to replace my ailing 10-blade version with a preset aperture. The new one is much smaller- about half the size of the 10-blader. It's about the same size as my third-version Summicron-M 50, so putting it on the a900 looks a little odd. Actually, it looks pretty odd on the end of the LA-EA1 and NEX-7. The glass is in great shape and it's a T-coated copy, and the iris is a thing of beauty. It's stepless and smooth but not loose. And it's never less than perfectly round. Oh, and the MFD sucks at .9M. So I ordered an M42 to M adapter so I can mount it on the Hawks.
