I can see this is going to be an extremely long thread, unless everyone runs out of money or the world lens market dries up...

The Mustang thread that I also frequent over in the City, Still Life & Abstract forum currently has 1554 pages, is pushing 39,000 posts and is still growing.
Returning to the topic, the last alt I got was a nice Vivitar Series 1 3/200 in M42 mount, made by Komine in 1976.

Bought a Rokinon 85/1.4 for Canon from Amazon.com and paired with the precision focusing screen its quite an impressive combo specially if you consider the value for money with this purchase.

The threads here might not be as long as that one, but at least (for me anyways) the threads here are for the most part secular.

3 out of the first ten threads here (when I write this) have more than 4000 posts each And one of them with close to 10k posts have already been archived 2 times. So it's part 3 of that thread

I know. Especially if the thread have a person that never let it die
I used to be on a motorcycle site some years ago where someone started a rude thread with pictures about another member that ran for at least three years and was revived every 1st January to wish the victim a happy anniversary. I can't remember how long it got to but I do recall it taking a couple of minutes to load.
The site owner eventually locked it for some reason - can't think why...

Thanks to helimat I've recently purchased a Minolta Rokkor 35 1.8, converted for EOS and I can't wait for it to get here. I also just picked up a used Tokina 16-50 2.8 (does that count as an 'alt' lens?) but to do this I had to sell my trusty Canon 28-70 2.8. It hurt giving up the Canon but I also put a couple of $ away so it feels like I'm ahead!

SWEET! Just won an Olympus OM Zuiko 40mm f/2.0 in what looks like mint condition!
Pretty reasonable price too...at least no where near the $695 buy it now that some people are asking.

Sirimiri -
No, I was looking at the ones that seller had, but I lucked into one for $330 BIN, in not quite as mint cosmetic condition but close.
I think these lenses (75mm shift) have an endemic issue with haze for some reason. I read of a lot of them with it. Which doesnt' seem to be the case with most all other RZ lenses, AFAIK.
