Today: Canon FDn 35-105/3.5 looks interesting (ranks a strong 9.5 on fdreview) and was cheap. Should work nicely on my Canon EF.

Today I picked up:
Hexanon AR EE 52/1.8 & 100/2.8 (he brought the 52/1.8 by accident, I was looking for the 50/1.7)
FD chrome nose 35/3.5 (still looking for 24/2.8, 35/2, 50/1.4, 55/1.2, & 100/2.8)
FD SSC 100/2.8 (I'm not really looking for ssc's, but couldn't resist)
Nikkor SC 55/1.2 n/ai(This will go nicely with my NC 24/2.8 & 35/2.8 shift, next on the list are 85/1.8 & 105/2.5)

I'm trying to get a grasp of the DDR JENAs 135mm, there seem to be several. I have a JENA 135/4 full of dust and a focus ring that feels like concrete. But it's very capable it turned out. Tried it the other day and here are two examples, and lastly a 100% crop. I wonder what the faster ones can do...

Since the focusing ring is concrete, I am thinking of getting another one. If you post examples I'd be happy :-)

Looks like a nice lens, good separation,
You say the focus ring feels like concrete?
The grip? Or how it turns? Sounds like a CLA is required.

I meant how it turns, it's very hard, almost like a glue that (almost) wont let go. What is a CLA?

GoPro Hero2 ... nice improvement over the regular GoPro HD ... more dynamic range, 10 frame bursts, 11 megs, various FOV's, easier to use menu, slightly better in low light. Doing a shoot next week with 14 mini-cams, a number of Canon's for time-lapse and five Sony F3's

CLA = clean, lube, adjust, an American term for maintenance. Probably the oil has partly evaporated and hardened. It would need to be removed and replaced. Some places do work like this for something in the 100 Euro region, depending on how hard the lens is to work on.

Little devil is pretty crisp from close in all the way out to infinity now.

Came with a fully functional (except meter) and clean contax IIIa colordial which is so fun i bought the j9 and 105 above for it.

With amedeo adapter all goes to nex as well.

Oh jeez I forgot, also won a pen F 20/3.5 for a low bid.

Its the highly dangerous fall price drop.

Oh, and there was the fujica gs645 folder...yow

Nex-7 comes in 10days after which my car will prolly be repossessed, hehe

I had a good week (my wife feels otherwise, but I digress...) as I bought a 50mm Minolta Rokkor f/1.2 converted to EOS by Jim Buchanan. Locally I stumbled into a very good deal on a Nikkor 135 2.8, non AI. I've never owned one before and now I'm looking for an adapter. The glass is wonderfully clean and blades super snappy. I think I'm gonna love it!

FD silver nose 50/1.4 (well used but not abused, needs a CLA I think)
S-M-C 28/3.5 ( has a super small filter dent, but otherwise in great condition)

The Pentor is amazingly good. Tack sharp from wide open on down and almost no CA. I believe it to be made by Tomioka.

Hmmmm... There is a pretty nice AI one for sale locally for $130. Maybe I should pick it up, even if I end up not using it much someone else would want it I'm sure at that price.
