"silver" Jupiter-3 50/f1.5, Leica screw mount.
Again, the lens before the adapter thing, sigh...
Anywho, just bought a Rainbow Imaging adapter for my FujiFilm X-E1.
So now, I wait some more...

I think in retospect - that lens really did put many pictures in newspapers and other publicationsworld wide. It seemed at that time Nikon grabbed the world press corps attention during and right after the Korean War. So many, many news and press agencys got into that gear. The film , cameras and publication methods of the day showed it at that time of photographic history- as a usable and desirable tool . So , i guess we should agree, today, its not so good- yesterday it was a different story. My God, they even put ia version of it on that big brick called a Nikkorex, or something like that.

Reading up on Nikkor lenses, I decided I just had to get this lens to try out, on account of its... reputation. Zoom-Nikkor 43-86/3.5 (original 9-element formula, multicoated).

I got lucky yesterday...
28mm f2.8 Elmarit R
50mm f2.0 Summicron R
50mm f1.4 Summilux R
90mm f2.8 whatever R (x2)
180mm f2.8 non-APO R
80-200 f4.5 Vario R
35mm f2.8 with the funny glasses for the viewfinder M
50mm f2.8 collapsible M
50mm f2.0 collapsible M39
50mm f2.0 Summicron M
90mm f2.8 M plus extension tubes/focusing helicoid
135mm f2.8 (maybe f4) M (not telephoto)
200mm f4 Meyer Optic M42 (sharp as a pillow)
40mm f2.8( maybe f4) macro thingy (super strange and seems contrasty at least)
Any a few very complicated rear lens caps (7) that I'm not enough of a leica buff to even identify without the internet.
Everything in well worked but still working condition and for about the price of the 180mm locally.
So far I'm really enjoying the 28mm on my A99 and I have to find more mount adapters.

Yes, it is - well spotted dcjs!
I received another Leica artefact today, not a lens, but the 15th edition of the 'Leica Manual. The Complete Book of 35mm Photography' This book had its 1st edition in 1935. Full of Leica-rich material, mainly featuring the M5 and Leicaflex SL as 'current models' but also all of the earlier products, photos of the era, etc etc.
Not bad for A$20 + postage.
