BTW The definition of "delivered" above means I take care of all fees for shipping and Paypal (not bank transfer tho). If your country charges tax you pay that but marking things as "gift" or whatever is fine...

I keep reading such comments. AFAIK there is no such thing. They're all made in the same place - Japan.

It just dawned on me that you may be asking about the warranty. Du'oh!

It comes with a Japanese store receipt and an international (world) warrantee card. When these are combined Nikon deems this an "Official Import Product" (Nikon's terminology) and will honor the warranty locally in your area - wherever you are. This is their written policy BTW.
