What did you process the clown picture with?
Pup n' Pig
I use Elements 8. The original image a bit bright due to too much flash, not enough comp. I did this:
Filter
adjustments
postize
texture
texturizer
sandstone
I havent taken a likeing to Sonys in camera posterizing. My OM-D does a much better job in my opinion.

Great catch on the BIF! He must have been close!
Hi Sandy.
The pelicans were quite close. They were flying just off the cliffs , and slightly above. By their rather effortless movement i would guess up-drafts added to their lift. I had placed the camera in C AF, high frames per second and a multi-point pattern for focus aera. That set up seemed to grab correct focus on most moving targets that day, gliders, surfers and birds.
Well, took the plunge, after all the incredible samples here and picked up the Sigma 60mm. Really impressed! I have the 50mm 1.8, which has been great, but I really appreciate the extra reach that the 60 will give. A test shot from a few minutes ago with my standard model, Luke. Really like how the lens 'renders'.
dragion, just do it! B&H has $30 off right now. I am pretty sure my 50mm 1.8 won't be seeing much use. I really like the look on the camera as well. Probably one of the best photography 'buys' on the planet.

I just purchased the 10-18mm f/4...don't have it in the budget!

I got rid of the 50. after 60 Sigma there is little reason for the 50, 60 just renders better. In my opinion.
10-18 is pricey for a crop lens I agree. There are two alternatives to 10-18: Canon 10-18 ($299) + Metabones type adapter ($90-$400 depending on which one you have), or Rokinon 12/2.8 ($399 - manual focus only).

Too late...already purchased the SEL1018.
This lens works well on APS-C & FF e-mount cameras.
