I tried my 28 cron on Nex6 and got to say that it was corner- soft from 2.0 up to 5.6 which is not the case with my M9 (extremely sharp across the frame). I don't think the 28 is a good match for NEX (in my case NEX6). Just my opinion.
If you have a set of calipers, check the thickness of your adapter, it may be thicker on one side which could account for the softness.
My Elmarit 28 is sharp into the corners wide open.
taran, I am not generally a fan of IR-style photos, but I like these quite a bit.
I have to say, I've seen in a lot of sources people saying they prefer canon color to Sony. I find I have trouble making canon colors look the way I want, especially when I compare them to nikon images. I really like the color rendition of the NEX.

I've been trying to decide which M 90 to get, and there are many to choose from, I read Lloyd's review last night of the Macro Elmar, but I think this pic and those of your girl have tipped the scales, though I think I like the size of the Elmarit a bit more.
Thanks for posting such great shots. Any chance you could post a crop? Thx.

Thanks LightShow.
The 90 AA is a massive lens for m mount, but it is still half the volume of a DSLR equivalent.
Here is the crop. Let me know if you need anything else.
Should I remove the hints of magenta/purple at the edges of the feather? Not sure whether it's CA or just some light effect (shot wide open into evening sun):
Probably FDn 24/2.8 (maybe FDn 35/2). Not sure how critically sharp these are, or should be (I find landscape hard to judge, I can't seem to tell how sharp far away grass etc. detail should be.)
