Jim, thanks. I was at the shore taking photos before the sun came up, and I thought my last would be as the sun hid a little behind that thin cloud band. But I took one more set as it rose above it and that was the best one of the lot. I was pleased how little flare there is. They closed the road an hour or so later as the tide rose and the waves started throwings rocks at passers by.

Thanks ebookman. I was walking around the boatyard with ice studs. Where there was no snow the whole place was thick black ice.

I'm quite please with the way the tilt-shift adapter is working with the 18 c/y. The one of the bouys and rope was taken at F4 (by mistake, I usually stop down to 5.6 or 8)

Phillip, I continue to be intrigued by your Tenerife images.

Mcbroomf, great shots from the waterside. I also liked the perspective from under the boat.

My wife borroed the 5N for an outing to China Town in SF. She's still getting the hang of it. Here are a few of her shots with the CV 21/1.8 (I processed them)

oh oh... what a high level in this thread!

.. especially the pictures of the zeiss lenses and the 15mm heliar are highly spectacular

cool.

in switzerland the spring starts theese days... here something with planar 85mm 1.4 and speed booster on nex-6.

Thanks ducbutchi, c/y = Contax/Yashica, in this case the 18mm, and t/s is the Kipon tilt/shift adapter I used with it on the 5N, either for vertical correction or to increase apparent dof by tilting the focal plane
